SUMMER 2018 BEAUTY FAVORITES

Here's a list of my summer beauty favorites! If you want to read about my spring favorites, click here. Enjoy!

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick // $18.00

I haven't been wearing a lot of liquid lipsticks this summer, besides Jeffree Star Velour formula. Its my absolute favorite - it lasts all day without drying out my lips or smudging on my face. The shade "Calabasas" is the perfect shade for any season and any skin tone. I cant recommend this lipstick enough!

Flower Beauty HydraSilk Ultimate Lip Butter // $9.99

This red lipstick is such a pretty pop of color for the summer time! The formula is so comfortable, moisturizing, and surprisingly more long-wear than I thought it would be considering it's a crème lipstick. I absolutely love this lipstick and have loved wearing it the past few months!

Sally Hansen Hard As Nails XTreme Wear // $2.99

This is my favorite nail polish brand! I have several different shades (some of which I've repurchased at least 5 times!). I don't use a base coat or top coat when I paint my nails and because of that my nail polish usually chips within about 3 days with other polishes. However, this lasts on my nails for about 1 1/2 weeks with minimal chipping. This is one of the most affordable nail polishes from the drugstore, but by far the best. All of the shades I've tried are evenly pigmented and have a nice glossy finish without using a top coat.

The shade I'm including today is one of my recent purchases called "Redical Rockstar", which is a bright red with orange undertones. It's actually the exact same shade as the Flower Beauty HydraSilk Ultimate Lip Butter in the shade "Poppy Petal" that I just mentioned!

Colourpop Yes, Please! Palette // $16.00

I've mentioned this palette in several posts before, but it is truly my all time favorite and most used palette in my collection. I've had it for a year and have found it to be so versatile for every season. I especially love it for summer, since it is full of bright, but also wearable, warm toned shades. My go-to everyday shades for the summertime have been; Champs (matte pale peachy nude), Louie (metallic duochrome red with a gold flip), Mischief (matte warm yellow), and Note to Self (matte warm caramel). The shadows are really high quality and blendable for such an affordable price.

Camila Cabello x L'Oréal Single Eyeshadow // $9.99

This shadow is so quick and easy to use. I apply it on my lid with my finger and blend it out with a camel brown shade (my go-to is the shade "Note to Self" from the Colourpop Yes, Please! palette.) The single shadows are my favorite from the Camila Cabello Havana collection and such a stand-out product from the drugstore.

This gloss is perfect for the summertime - it gives such a nice shine to the lips with a very sheer wash of pigmentation and sparkle. It feels really light and moisturizing, too. I have been using it nonstop since I bought it!

Milani Eyeshadow Primer // $6.99

Over the summer I've been having issues with my eyeshadows creasing and fading within a few hours of application because of how humid it is where I live. I've heard great things about this primer for years and it definitely lives up to it's hype. I only use a tiny amount for each eyelid and blend it in with my finger. I can see the difference in the longevity in my eye makeup and the minimal creasing I have by the end of the day.

This is actually the first product I've ever tried from Milani and I'm excited to try more in the future! Comment below your Milani recommendations!

Wet n Wild Zodiac Collection Color Icon Lip Gloss // $2.99

This lip gloss is such a unique duo-chrome tangerine shade with pink and gold reflect. I recent bought a few lip glosses from the new Wet n Wild Zodiac Collection and I've been using this one a lot in particular because it is just the perfect summer shade. It can be worn alone, layered on top of a lipstick, or mixed together wit another gloss (I've been using it in combination with the Camila Cabello x L'Oréal lip gloss I mentioned previously.) Also it's Leo season and I'm a Leo, so I obviously had to include this shade! 😊

Wet n Wild Zodiac Collection MegaGlo Loose Highlighting Powder // $6.99

If you love an intense shimmery highlight, you have to try this Wet n Wild one out! It is so reflective and bright - really on a different level than all of my other highlighters. The icy champagne tone is the perfect shade to compliment my fair skin tone. I love to use the Real Techniques Setting Brush with this because it applies the perfect amount of product in a targeted area. If you're looking for an intense summer glow, then I highly recommend this product!

Blossom Beauty RollLip Gloss // $6.00

I have been using this gloss so much over the past few weeks. I would actually consider this to be more of a lip balm since the glossy finish doesn't last very long. It leaves my lips feeling moisturized for several hours after the gloss is gone. I also love how there's real flowers inside the tube!

I bought mine at Urban Outfitters, which is the only place I've ever seen this brand before. Click here to see a list of their other retailers.

Vaseline Lip Therapy Lip Balm Tin // $2.99

I have tried so many lip balms most of which were mediocre at best, but this is one of my absolute favorites. I love the rosy scent, it isn't too strong and perfumey like other floral scented makeup can be. I always apply mine at night before I go to bed and in the morning/before I do my makeup and it gives my lips long-lasting moisture. My tin is almost empty now and I will definitely be repurchasing in the future. This is also a dupe for the Glossier Balm DotCom and the Smith's RoseBud Salve - but at only a fraction of their prices!
