Kylie Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick: Worth The Hype?

Image
Kylie Cosmetics is undoubtedly one of the most talked-about makeup brands in the industry ever since its launch in 2015. A lot of the hype comes from Kylie Jenner's name being attached to it - but are the products actually worth the money? In todays post, I'm going to share my full review of the most popular product the brand sells, their matte liquid lipsticks.  I made my first order on the Kylie Cosmetics website in late 2016 and I ordered Candy K, one of her original 3 lip kit shades. It is described on KylieCosmetics.com as a "warm pinky nude". For about a year this was pretty much the only lipstick I would wear when I would do my makeup. It is the most reliable liquid lipstick I have and I know I can count on it lasting all day, with minimal touch-ups required. When I go on vacation, this is one of the two lipsticks I always bring with me (other than my favorite red lipstick), since I know it's perfect for any occassion.  The formula isn't d

2018 ALLURE BEST OF BEAUTY LIST: MY RECOMMENDATIONS

Allure recently released their annual list of the best beauty products. It includes 100s of products; from makeup, skincare, nails, brushes, and more from all price ranges. FLOWER BEAUTY BLUSH: REVIEW

I have the shade "Wild Rose" which is a pale rosy pink shade. I have a very fair skin tone and this compliments it perfectly. There are 4 shades available right now, but I hope they eventually expand the shade range to cater to deeper skin tones.  This product has the perfect amount of pigmentation. Other blushes I've tried can be too pigmented - making it very easy to apply too much and look like a clown. The Flower Pot blush has a satin finish that gives a really natural flush of color to the cheeks that blends seamlessly into the skin. It is pretty densely pressed into the pan and has no powdery kickback. From what I've tried, this formula is most reminiscent of my favorite Essence Silky touch Blush , which was actually discontinued a while ago. I'm so glad I was able to find a comparable product! There is a rose imprinted in the product, which adds such a cute touch to the blush. The packaging looks like it would be made out of cheap plastic, b
