To top off the massive year Charli xcx had following the release BRAT , she took the concept of that album and every single song and completely transformed it into something brand new. It takes the idea that every song's concept, or even just song title, can have so many different lives that can be (and should be) explored further than just the original version of it. Many of the songs don't even feature a single lyric or melody from the original versions, but still find a way to expand and evolve the meaning behind each. Charli's approach to this project is as artful as it is groundbreaking and its long overdue for her to finally get her flowers. "I Believe In Magic" // Halsey  I honestly can't even begin to process Halsey 's latest album, The Great Impersonator , but it truly did break my heart into a million pieces. It went places I couldn't have ever imagined and left me in tears from beginning to end. I forever am so inspired by their bravery to put out their heaviest and deepest work yet into the world. It's hard to choose just one track that stood out to me, but for the sake of this list, I wanted to highlight "I Believe In Magic". This song is dedicated to her son and her love for him. It is one of many deeply emotional moments on this record and I honestly already feel forever changed by the rest of The Great Impersonator .
