Spring Beauty Favorites: 2018

Image
Here's a list of a few beauty products that I've been loving this spring! Enjoy! Essence Kiss The Frog Lipstick // $3.49 This pH adapting / color changing lip balm has been my most used lip product over the past few weeks. It gives such a pretty wash of color and hydration to the lips. Even after the balm wears off, the stain stays on all day. It is a much brighter shade than I am used to, but I think its so perfect for spring and summer!  Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush // $1.99 I used to use this blush all the time a few years ago, but I recently re-discovered it in my collection and I don't know why I ever stopped using it! It is easy to be heavy-handed with it, but it gives a really pretty flush of color to the cheeks if applied sparingly. There are flecks of gold glitter in it, but it isn't too noticeable once applied. It such an amazing formula for an incredibly affordable price. My go-to brush for this is the Wet n Wild Contour Brush (which is only

SONGS I LOVE // 5.21.18

Here's a list of my current favorite songs - Enjoy! Sangria Wine // Camila Cabello x Pharrell Williams I definitely think this song is going to be a massive summer hit, much like Havana was. I have loved Camila's new music that came out in recent months and I can't wait to hear more from her in the future!  Jump (feat. Trippie Redd) // Julia Michaels This song has been on repeat ever since it came out a few weeks ago. I have loved all of Julia's music so far, but I think Jump is truly one of her best. From the Dining Table // Harry Styles For some reason, I never really paid much attention to this song whenever I would listen to Harry's album before. But recently I realized what I've been missing out on this whole time. From the Dining Table is such a beautiful and underrated song from his album. Cherry // Lana Del Rey Just like the Harry Styles song I just mentioned, Cherry is a song that I have heard many times

$5 DUPE FOR STILA MAGNIFICENT METAL GLITTER & GLOW EYESHADOWS

One of my all-time favorite makeup products is Stila's Magnificent Metal Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow. I typically don't buy a lot of high end makeup but I knew that this was going to be a product I was going to love - and I do. However, the $24 price tag holds me back from purchasing more shades of this product. Ever since I bought this Stila liquid eyeshadow last August, I have been on the hunt for a comparable dupe from the drugstore. I haven't found anything that works as well as this does...until now.  I came across the Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Eyeshadow one day at Ulta and after swatching it, I knew I had to try it. I bought the shade Goldie Lux, which looks more like a chartreuse than a true gold in the tube and when applied opaquely. However, I have found that by blending the product on the eyelid with your finger perfectly sheers out the greenish tint and transforms it into a gorgeous glittery gold. It has almost the exact same for

Met Gala 2018: Best Dressed

Image
In honor of the annual Met Gala in New York City last night, I wanted to share some of my favorite red carpet looks. The theme of this year's event was "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination".   In my opinion, the three best of the night were Ariana Grande, Blake Lively and Rihanna. For her first Met Gala, Ariana wore a gown that was designed by Vera Wang featuring Michelangelo's "The Last Judgement" painting from the Sistine Chapel. Blake Lively always dresses so elegantly year after year at the Met Gala and I think this year was her best yet.  When it comes to the Met Gala, you can always count on Rihanna to deliver an iconic look that is always right on theme. Her bejeweled pope-inspired outfit was so unique and was really such a stand out outfit from the night. I loved so many of the looks from last night, but I wanted to highlight a few that really stood out for me with the Catholicism theme. Ariana Grande Blake Liv
