"Merry Christmas, Please Don't Call" // Bleachers Is it too soon to say this is one of Bleachers ' best songs yet? Because it is! "Merry Christmas, Please Don't Call" is a song draped in nostalgia and really captures some of the melancholy feelings this season can bring. I never heard a song quite like this though, it evokes such a specific emotion in me that I don't even know if I can fully describe, but just feels like something that I needed to hear. All of the best Bleachers music does that for me though. While it is technically a Christmas song, it isn't overtly festive, which is a genre that is so hard to pull off but Jack and the rest of the band did it perfectly. I have been looking forward to finally hearing this song for a couple of years and it came at the perfect time. "Talk Talk (Remix) // Charli xcx & Troye Sivan In honor of Charli and Troye 's joint SWEAT Tour kicking off this month, they released a new BRAT remix of "Talk Talk" which is so iconic! It also features a cute cameo from Dua Lipa at the beginning and end speaking in French and Spanish. I love that Troye really transformed it into a completely different song, but one that is still just as great as the original. Charli also finally announced the full BRAT remix album too, with every song from the original being reworked into something completely new and different. All of the remixes that have been released so far have been nothing short of perfection!  Brat and it's completely different but also still brat  is set to be released this October and I am veryyyyy excited to hear it! Happy First Monday in May! This year's Met Gala is celebrating the opening of the second part of The Costume Institute's annual exhibition at The Metropolitan Musem of Art titled "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion". This year's theme is Gilded Glamour, which is very fitting for what is traditionally known as "fashion's biggest night out", and always full of opulence and glamour. I love seeing all of the creativity and artistry that goes into the designs for this event. Happy New Year! For my first post of 2021, I want to reflect back on some of my favorite albums of the previous year. 2020 was without a doubt a pretty bad year for everyone, but at least the music wasn't! During such isolating times, music connected us all more than ever before. Listed below is the music that became the soundtrack of 2020 for me!  folklore // Taylor Swift Without a doubt, my favorite album of 2020 is Taylor Swift's Folklore . This album was surprise released in the summer and was made in just a few months at the beginning of the pandemic. In so many ways, it reinvented not only Taylor as an artist, but also the way music is created and released in the time of a worldwide pandemic.
