HARRY STYLES // 5 YEAR ALBUM ANNIVERSARY REVIEW

Image
It has officially been 5 years since Harry Styles released his self-titled debut solo album and I thought now felt like the perfect time to go back and reflect on it! Back when this album was released in 2017, it would actually be a few months before I even started my blog and even at that, I didn't start writing long-form album reviews in the way I often do now until 2020. There are so many albums that I love and never had the chance to properly review, many of which I want to revisit like this and share my thoughts on now. For this 5 year anniversary, and with the imminent release of Harry's third album Harry's House this week, it feels like the perfect time to reflect on where it all started for him as a solo artist. I included this release on my top 10 favorite albums of the decade post in 2019 because it truly was signifying the birth of one of this generation's most captivating artists. Harry's debut album, made up of 10 incredible songs, was just the first...

MET GALA 2022 // BEST DRESSED

Happy First Monday in May! This year's Met Gala is celebrating the opening of the second part of The Costume Institute's annual exhibition at The Metropolitan Musem of Art titled "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion". This year's theme is Gilded Glamour, which is very fitting for what is traditionally known as "fashion's biggest night out", and always full of opulence and glamour. My absolute favorite was Blake Lively, who was also one of the cochairs of this year's event. Every year she is...

After a few months of delays, the 64th annual Grammy Awards were finally held in Las Vegas over the weekend. This year's show celebrated so much of the amazing music that has been released in the past year. Each category was really stacked with great releases, making it impossible to predict who would've ultimately won. The show overall didn't feel like it had as many memorable moments like it has in the past, especially in comparison to last year's show , but there were still some highlights that were worth sharing, both from the red carpet and the show itself.  The show opened with a performance by Silk Sonic, which is made up of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, with their song "777". They were some of the most notable winners of the night, winning both Song of the Year and Record of the Year for "Leave The Door Open". In their acceptance speech, Anderson said, "We are really trying to remain humble at this point, but in the industry we call th...
