"OMG" // Suki Waterhouse I have been so obsessed with Suki Waterhouse 's "OMG" this month! I haven't been able to get enough of it, it has the best vibe and is so catchy too. She is so effortlessly cool in the same way that artists like St. Vincent or Arctic Monkeys are to me, both of whom sound like evident inspirations behind this track. The bridge is especially such a shining moment of the song, "My baby, don't look for me when I get lost on all these streets, see myself, but it's not me, I'm with the crowd, I cannot breathe". Her vocal performance and delivery of these lyrics is so great, and "OMG" is absolutely one of the best songs I have heard from her yet! I can't wait to hear more from her hopefully soon!  "Tiny Moves" // Bleachers "Tiny Moves" captures the feelings of pure love and joy so perfectly. I have always loved the way Jack Antonoff has been able to capture small moments of life and ...

"White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter" by Lana Del Rey Whoopsie daisy yoo-hoo! Lana Del Rey is back with a new single off her upcoming album Stove , and it already feels like an instant classic in her catalog. She embodies a sound and style that's unmistakably unique, blending an enchanting Southern‑Gothic, witchy‑princess vibe - a description that's incredibly specific, but really does captures the tone of the song so well. It feels unlike anything she, or anyone else, has ever made before, and it reflects the new stage of life that's inspiring this era of her work. There's a special charm running through the entire song, serving as the strongest reminder (if anyone needed one) of what an artistic force she is and always has been. Lana creates music that is so singular to her vision; no matter how abstract the idea might seem on paper, she pulls it off with an effortlessness that only she can capture. Radical Optimism by Dua Lipa // Album Review

Image
Radical Optimism is a testament to Dua Lipa 's unwavering belief in the power of positivity amidst all of the chaos in the world. Every single song on this album is so uplifting and vibrant in the musical journey she is taking the listener through. With her third album release, Dua continues to be one of the few pop stars to be doing it as well as she is, continuously redefining the boundaries of the genre.  "A couple years ago, a friend introduced me to the term Radical Optimism . It’s a concept that resonated with me, and I became more curious as I started to play with it and weave it into my life. It struck me – the idea of going through chaos gracefully and feeling like you can weather any storm," Dua wrote in the album's liner notes. That mantra shines through in Dua's unbridled confidence in herself and her vision for this album, which is really inspiring to see. The album cover is a really interesting interpretation of that radically optimistic message too...
