MY FAVORITE MAKEUP PRODUCTS UNDER $5 // (PART 4)

Every year I have made it a tradition to continue my series of my favorite makeup products under $5 to commemorate the anniversary of my first blog post in 2017! For the three year anniversary of my blog, I'm sharing part 4 of this series - which I think may have some of the best product recommendations yet! So many use the phrase "good for the price" when describing affordable makeup, but all of these products are genuinely comparable in quality to so many high-end alternatives, all while being sold at a lower price. If you are interested in reading about more products under $5, I'd love for you to check out the rest of the series throughout the years! Every product I have shared throughout the years in this series continue to be some my favorites and I still stand by all of my reviews! ♡

ELF Bite Size Mini Eyeshadow Palette // $3

Elf has a beautiful assortment of eyeshadow quads that will surely be able to suit anyone's makeup preferences. The formula of the metallic shades are so smooth and pigmented, which adds the perfect amount of shine to the lids. The mattes can be a bit patchy (I only have the "Hot Jalapeno" palette, so I can't speak on all of the quads), but it's nothing that a little bit of extra building and blending can't help! These mini palettes are the perfect way to experiment with new shades, or to find your new go-to palette! The possibilities are endless with these palettes and the $3 price tag just can't be beat! Out of all of the new drugstore makeup releases in the past year (or more), these are definitely my favorite!

NYX Slide On, Glide On Eyeliner Pencils // $5

These waterproof eyeliners come in dozens of beautiful shades that I rarely see from other brands. I have the shades "Purple Blaze" (metallic purple) and "Jewel" (metallic rosy mauve with pink glitter), both of which add such a fun pop of color to any eye look. I'm definitely a beginner when it comes to properly using eyeliner, but these pencils have the perfect amount of pigmentation and creaminess, which makes it so easy to apply. The formula is long lasting and is actually very reminiscent of the famous Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners! Both of the shades I have compliement my favorite NYX Mysic Petals Palette so well, too!

Rimmel Wonder'fully Real Mascara // $4

I bought this on a whim at Target last year when I was in need of a new mascara and I'm so happy I did because it has quickly become my absolute favorite! It is formulated with Keratin, which helps make the lashes appear longer and fuller - which is exactly what I look for when it comes to mascara. I typically apply just one or two coats for maximum impact. It lasts all day in the summer heat without smudging or flaking off, which is an issue I have experienced in the past from mant other mascaras. This is such an underrated product!

Colourpop Single Eyeshadows // $4.50

Colourpop has been one of my favorite brands for years, and their eyeshadow palettes in particular have always been a stand-out to me. I love that they also offer single eyeshadows, many of which are shades that aren't found in their full-sized palettes. I have two shades, both of which are beautiful duo-chromes that I use almost every time I do my makeup. It's rare to find duo-chromatic eyeshadows like these, especially at an affordable price, so I really love that Colourpop offers them! There are dozens of single shadows to choose from on their website, ranging from matte, satin, metallic, duo-chrome, and glitter finishes - which you can build a fully customized palette with, or buy a few individually like I did!

Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuit Eyeshadow // $2.69

There are so many glittery liquid eyeshadows on the market from nearly every makeup brand, but in my experience Wet n Wild has truly perfected it. It is an exact dupe for the famous Stila Magnificent Metals Liquid Eyeshadow, but for $22 less. I apply a dab of it to my eyelid and tap it in with my finger to fully blend in the pigment. I have completely used and repurchased the shade Goldie Lux several times because it is the perfect gold glitter topper to any eyeshadow look! If you love glitter as much as I do, but don't want to deal with the mess of application, then I can't recommend this product enough!
