Today I'm going to be sharing my thoughts on a few products I tried from the new Wet n Wild Zodiac Collection. Enjoy!

MegaGlo Loose Highlighting Powder // $6.99

Out of the entire zodiac collection, this is the product I was first drawn to. I never tried a loose highlighter before, but I actually really like it more than I thought I would.  The product can get very messy if you aren't careful, but it's worth the extra precautions for the shine it gives. If you prefer to have a natural glow, this highlight probably isn't for you since it has such an icy finish with a strong champagne reflect. It also has visible flecks of glitter in it, which I personally love. I don't wet my brush either - it gives such a strong glittery metallic finish right away.

I use the Real Techniques Setting Brush, which is my all-time favorite for highlighting. It picks up the perfect amount of the product and works great to blend out cream, liquid, powder, and now also loose powder formulas.

The detailing of the packaging is so beautiful and well thought out, as well. The outside cap has the astrological wheel with all 12 zodiac symbols on it. The inside sifters are shaped like stars, which is also such a cute touch that really sets it apart from any other highlighter I've seen.

Color Icon Lip Gloss // $2.99 each

There are 12 different lip glosses in this zodiac collection - one for each sign. I bought my 3 favorite shades; Leo, Virgo, and Pisces.

Leo is my star sign, so obviously I was immediately drawn to buying that one. It's a sheer tangerine shade with subtle orange, gold and silver sparkles. It's unlike any other lip gloss I've ever seen and is perfect for the summertime.

The shade Virgo looks like it would be a lot different in the tube, but it's actually very wearable and not as intimidating as you might initially think. It looks like it would be a dark brownish grey with blue glitter, but it's actually a sheer wash of color on the lips. Out of the 3 I tried, this is the most opaque in pigmentation, but isn't as pigmented as some others I've tried before from other brands. This shade also looks so beautiful layered on top of a darker lipstick. I already know I'm going to be getting a lot of use out of this in the fall and winter when I tend to gravitate more to darker lipsticks!

The shade Pisces is an iridescent pink with blue reflect. Although I mentioned before that this is a sheer formula, this is the most see-through out of the 3. I think it looks so beautiful worn alone or as a lip topper to completely transform the lipstick you have on underneath. If you love the iridescent makeup trend as much as I do, then you need to try this gloss!

All of the shades I bought have a glitter finish. They do feel slightly gritty on the lips which I don't personally mind, but that's a personal preference. If you're looking for a glitter-based gloss that isn't gritty - I would recommend trying the Flower Beauty Galaxy Glaze instead.
