FLOWER BEAUTY CONCEALER REVIEW

Image
To start off, the biggest issue I have with this product is that there's only 6 shades. Brands with a non-inclusive shade range is definitely a huge issue in the makeup industry and I really hope Flower expands their shade range, as well as many other brands with the same issue. I have a very fair skin tone and  the lightest concealer shade in the Light Illusion range * is too dark for me. The darkest shade also won't be dark enough for a lot of skin tones. Both ends of the spectrum of shades needs to be expanded. All of the shades in the range seem to lean more on the warmer side, so if you have cool or neutral-toned skin (like I do) then you won't be able to find an exact match - which is a shame because I actually really love the formula. It has a beautiful natural dewy finish to it, while also being full coverage and covering up blemishes. I personally use concealer all over my face to substitute as a foundation and it gives my face such a nice natural shine. My sk

SUMMER 2018 BEAUTY FAVORITES

Here's a list of my summer beauty favorites! If you want to read about my spring favorites, click here . Enjoy! Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick // $18.00 I haven't been wearing a lot of liquid lipsticks this summer, besides Jeffree Star Velour formula. Its my absolute favorite - it lasts all day without drying out my lips or smudging on my face. The shade "Calabasas" is the perfect shade for any season and any skin tone. I cant recommend this lipstick enough! Shade Shown: Calabasas Flower Beauty HydraSilk Ultimate Lip Butter // $9.99 This red lipstick is such a pretty pop of color for the summer time! The formula is so comfortable, moisturizing, and surprisingly more long-wear than I thought it would be considering it's a crème lipstick. I absolutely love this lipstick and have loved wearing it the past few months! Check out my full review here ! Shade Shown: Poppy Petal Sally Hansen Hard As Nails XTreme Wear // $2.99

Camila Cabello x L'Oréal Havana Collection: Review

Image
Camila Cabello is one of my favorite artists, so I was obviously very excited when she announced her collaboration with L'Oréal for a collection inspired by her hometown and hit song, Havana. In today's post I'm going to be sharing my thoughts on what I tried from the collection! Enjoy! Single Eyeshadow // $9.99 each When I first saw a picture of this collection, I was immediately drawn to the single eyeshadows. These are the first I've tried from the brand, but I've heard a lot of great things about L'Oréal's eyeshadow formula in the past.  The rose gold/bronze shade is called "Oh-Na-Na" (I love that name!). The texture of the shadow feels almost like a hybrid between a cream and powder, even though it is technically marketed as a powder shadow. The formula actually reminds me a lot of Colourpop's Super Shock Shadows , which are my all-time favorite single shadows.  "Oh-Na-Na" has a really vibrant metallic finis

☆★WET N WILD ZODIAC COLLECTION: REVIEW☆★

Image
Today I'm going to be sharing my thoughts on a few products I tried from the new Wet n Wild Zodiac Collection. Enjoy! MegaGlo Loose Highlighting Powder // $6.99 Out of the entire zodiac collection, this is the product I was first drawn to. I never tried a loose highlighter before, but I actually really like it more than I thought I would.  The product can get very messy if you aren't careful, but it's worth the extra precautions for the shine it gives. If you prefer to have a natural glow, this highlight probably isn't for you since it has such an icy finish with a strong champagne reflect. It also has visible flecks of glitter in it, which I personally love. I don't wet my brush either - it gives such a strong glittery metallic finish right away.  I use the Real Techniques Setting Brush, which is my all-time favorite for highlighting. It picks up the perfect amount of the product and works great to blend out cream, liquid, powder, and now

BENEFIT PRECISELY MY BROW PENCIL: REVIEW

Image
In todays post, I'm going to be sharing my review on the Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil. I received this product courtesy of Influenster for reviewing purposes - this post is not sponsored and all opinions are my own, as always. Enjoy! I have the shade 4.5 Medium, which matches me perfectly and is suitable for medium to dark hair with neutral undertones. This is one of the newest shades added to the range, along with 3.5 Neutral, which is best for medium to neutral toned hair. There is a shade for everyone ranging from platinum blonde to dark brown/black hair.  I really don't do much with my brows on a daily basis, the most I use is a brow gel (my go-to is the Essence Make Me Brow Gel Mascara ) or just a dark brown eyeshadow to fill in some sparse areas. I never used a brow pencil like this before, so I really didn't know how much practice it was going to take to figure out how to use it.  Luckily, this product is actually very beginner friendly and was easy
