ARIANA GRANDE FRAGRANCES // COMPARED 2019

Ariana Grande's line of fragrances are my all-time favorites - I've been using all 4 for years and absolutely love each one. In today's post I'm going to be sharing my reviews and comparisons of each in order to help you narrow down which one would suit your style the best and also help you make a better-educated purchase! I'm very well-versed in these products, so I hope this is helpful to you if you were interested in one of these fragrances, but didn't know which one to go for. Enjoy!

As mentioned previously, Ariana has 4 different fragrances in her line - Ari, Sweet Like Candy, Moonlight, and Cloud.

I bought all of these in-store at Ulta in the United States, which is where each one is exclusively sold. They are also available in the UK at The Perfume Shop, Boots, and Superdrug.

For everything concerning pricing, sizing, etc. I'm going to be referring to Ulta's website, but it may vary depending on where you buy it. Each perfume comes in three different sizes - 1.0 oz, 1.7 oz and 3.4 oz. The price ranges from $42-$62 depending on the size you buy. Rollerballs are also available for each fragrance, which are $22. In my opinion, the price is very fair, especially when compared to the pricing of other high-end fragrances. I usually buy the 1.7 oz or the 3.4 oz, which lasts me usually about a year and a half or more, so it is definitely worth the price.

If you want to test them all out at once, but don't want to buy full sizes, there is often gift sets available with travel sizes of each fragrance for less than the price of one full-sized bottle. That's a great cost effective way to try them all out if you can't decide which one you want to try first!

Ari

Fragrance Notes:
Top: crispy pear, pink grapefruit, juicy raspberry
Heart: soft muguet, rose buds, vanilla orchid
Base: marshmallow, creamy musk, blonde woods

"Ari" was Ariana's first fragrance release in 2015 and continues to be one of my favorites from the line. This is going to be the most versatile fragrance out of the 4, because it's sweet and fruity but has the perfect amount of vanilla and undertones of musk to balance it out. It also has hints of marshmallow and cotton candy, which makes it smell even more delicious. It's sweet, while still being sophisticated enough for anyone's preferences.

The packaging has a beautiful clear geometric shape with the liquid being a pink hue (it's hard to tell in the photo since mine is almost completely empty!). The bottle looks so chic and luxurious!

Sweet Like Candy

Fragrance Notes:
Top: sparkling blackberry, Italian bergamot, pear
Heart: jasmine sambac, frangipani, dewy honey suckle
Base: crème de cassis, marshmallow, cashmere woods, vanilla

"Sweet Like Candy" is the perfect name for this fragrance, because it is so sweet and smells just like candy. I personally really like scents like this, so if you like that style of fragrance too, then you'll love this! Even though it's sweet, it isn't overbearing and doesn't smell like a cheap little girl perfume. It smells fresh and light when applied!

This has the same geometric-shaped bottle as "Ari", but "Sweet Like Candy" is a matte bubblegum pink with a matching pink pom-pom. The packaging is so cute and compliments the scent inside so perfectly.

Moonlight

Fragrance Notes:
Top: rich black currant, juicy plum
Heart: fluffy marshmallow, fresh peony
Base: creamy sandalwood, black amber, sensual vanilla

This is very different from the previous two fragrances and is actually one of my top favorites ever! It's the first one to stray away from the ultra-sweet candy scents and smells unlike anything other perfume I've used before. It's still sweet, but it has a stronger tone of vanilla and sandalwood, which makes it smell a bit more mature.

All of them wear a fairly long time, but I do notice that "Moonlight" lasts longer than the others (but this varies depending one everyone's different body chemistry, so you may have a different experience).

It's also named after one of my favorite songs by Ariana, so that's a bonus too!

Once again, the packaging is in the same geometric bottle as the previous two - except "Moonlight" has a beautiful purple, green and blue iridescent shift to the bottle - it's really stunning! The colors remind me of the way the stage looked when she sang "Moonlight" on the Dangerous Woman Tour when I saw her back in 2017 - which I can tell was definitely the inspiration behind this fragrance! Below are two photos I took at the concert to better describe what I'm talking about! It was one of my favorite parts of the show and one of my favorite songs off of the Dangerous Woman album! ♡

Cloud

Fragrance Notes:
Top: lavender, pear, bergamont
Heart: coconut, praline, vanilla orchid
Base: cashmere

I really love all of the fragrances I talked about today, but if I had to choose my favorite, it would be Ariana's newest - "Cloud". It kind of reminds me of a mix between "Ari" and "Moonlight" - but better! I always get compliments on it, too!

It's a sweet, yet fresh scent that would likely work for most people's preferences. It smells like marshmallow and vanilla, with a bit of a fruity undertone.

Just like "Moonlight", this is very long-wearing and lasts all day on me!

This is the first to use different packaging from the geometric bottle used for the first three. It's so simple, yet so unique from anything I've ever seen before when it comes to a perfume bottle. If you find the bottle to be too bulky with the cloud platform it's on, it actually removes from the base and underneath is just the circular aqua blue bottle. I personally like it though and it fits nicely with the other items on my dresser. It's easy to use/hold the perfume bottle with the cloud platform attached, as well.

Overall, I really love all of these fragrances and highly recommend all 4 of them - it just comes down to personal preference. They are a great value, have beautiful packaging, and of course smell amazing! Through the years I've used many different perfumes - especially celebrity fragrances - and none of them compare to Ariana Grande's. They are some of my all time favorite scents that I will continue to repurchase again and again.

Ariana is about to officially announce her fifth fragrance, which I'm very excited about! She posted a few sneak-peaks of the campaign and already announced that it's going to be called "thank u, next"! I will definitely be purchasing it when it comes out in a few months and will write a review of it and compare it to the others from the collection! You can click here to sign up for the mailing list for updates on the launch if you're interested!

Thanks for reading! Be sure to leave a comment if you've ever tried any of these before and what you thought of them! If you haven't tried them yet, let me know which one sounds like would best suit your personal style! ♡
