Justice by Justin Bieber // Exclusive Gold Vinyl & Japanese Import CD

Image
Justice is the sixth album by Justin Bieber , released in 2021 , the follow up to Changes the year before. It is one of his strongest releases yet, full of moments that are among the best of his career thus far.  As a whole, it builds upon the foundation he set in place with the R&B focused  Changes  really well and even greatly expanded upon some of the parts of that record that were lacking. Justice also spawned many big hits for him, the inescapably infectious "Peaches (featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon)" is one the highlights from this album. "Ghost", "Lonely (featuring Benny Blanco), and "Holy (featuring Chance The Rapper)" are among some of the other hits that captured a more introspective side of Justin's artistry. Even though  Justice  is known for some of the bigger hits that came from the album, some of my personal favorites are definitely some of the deeper cuts like "Somebody", "Die For You (featuring Dominic Fike)...

"What You Want" by Angèle & Justice // Song Review

Image
"What You Want" is a bold electronic club anthem that serves as the perfect blend between Justice - the French electronic duo made up of Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé - and Belgian pop singer Angèle . It's such a seamless fusion of their two distinct sonic worlds, coming together in the most unexpected way. The collaboration itself came together organically after meeting for the first time backstage at Justice's show in Brussels in late 2024. There was an immediate creative spark between them, and that connection was translated so clearly into this track. The energy and adrenaline running through the song, along with the sleek electronic production all collide to create such a dynamic listening experience.  "I went to say hi in their dressing room after their show, which I'd loved. It was the first time we met, and we talked a lot about our careers and our creative visions. I spontaneously suggested they come to the studio. We spent an afternoon listenin...

VMAs 2020 // Best Dressed & Show Recap

Image
With the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards being one of the first big in-person events to be held since COVID-19 hit earlier this year, the show definitely had a noticeable change of pace in comparison to previous years. In an effort to maintain social distancing guidelines, most of the performances were prerecorded and there was no live audience (just cringey fake cheering in the background). The parts of the show that weren't prerecorded were filmed in outdoor locations across all five boroughs of New York City with no audience.  I look forward to the VMAs every year to see the always memorable - and often outrageous - performances, red carpet fashion, and iconic pop culture moments. This year was very different in that regard because of the prerecorded aspect, which took away from a lot of the spontaneity the show usually has. In addition, there was really only a few big performances that were actually worth watching. The opening performance of the night was The Weeknd with "Blin...

The Best Songs of March 2026 // New Music Friday!

"Carla's Song" by Harry Styles Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally  is here and it is such an incredible return to one of the defining artists of our time. One undeniable career highlight for Harry is the album's final track, "Carla's Song" . It's hard to even put into words how special this song is. It feels like a celebration of the music that shapes us and the people who enter our lives and change the way we listen, share, and connect. There's something so moving about the way he captures that exchange; how you show someone the songs you love, and they show you theirs, and suddenly your world is bigger because of it. It also feels like a beautiful reflection of the relationship between artist and listener, and the way he understands what his music represents to so many people right now in the moment, and also the ways in which this art will outlive all of us. As a closing track, it's powerful, emotional, and unlike anything I've hear...
