Meeting John Stamos at Books & Greetings in New Jersey! // "If You Would Have Told Me" Book Signing

Have mercy! My dad and I had the best experience meeting John Stamos in Northvale, New Jersey! He had book signing at Books & Greetings to celebrate the release of his new memoir, If You Would Have Told Me*. I am such a big fan of his and it was such a dream getting to meet him! My favorite show for basically my entire life has been Full House, I could easily quote every single episode of it if I had to! Uncle Jesse has always been my favorite character and I never thought I would get to meet him!

Books & Greetings is a great independent bookstore located in Northvale, NJ. This was our first time there, but it was such a great experience and I look forward to visiting again one day! It was a two hour drive to get there and it was so worth it. They host so many author meet & greets at their store, so I highly recommend checking them out!

Sometimes the books are signed in person depending on the number of tickets sold, but since there was over 1400 people there, the books were pre-signed on an insert to save time. They also had a professional photographer there too, so it was all a very efficient process. Even though there were so many tickets sold, they kept it all so organized and the line went pretty quickly. All of the staff and the other fans waiting outside were so nice too, everyone was so happy coming out of the store!

We eventually got called in to the store and it was such an amazing experience! My dad and I wore matching Jesse and the Rippers shirts that we got years ago in a New York City comic book store called Forbidden Planet. When we were a couple of people back in the line, John turned around and winked at me and gave a peace sign and said, "Yeahhh rock on!" when he saw our shirts haha!

When it was our turn to go up and get a picture, he was so nice and had the biggest smile. You can really tell how naturally charismatic and friendly he is just in that quick moment; it was everything I hoped it would be and more! He was still so energetic even after meeting almost a thousand people by that point! I also told him I'm such a big fan and love Full House so much. John was beyond nice and shook our hands said how cool it was to meet us!

We were lucky to have taken so many pictures with him too, I love how they turned out! What an unforgettable experience!

Thanks for reading! I would love to hear your thoughts in the comment section below! Be sure to check out John's new memoir If You Would Have Told Me* and support your local indie bookstores
